So you may be wondering. "The hell is IRC?"
IRC is noted as an Internet Relay Chat. It's very popular at times.Kaiyne Illdion wrote:

You can connect to Divinity-X's IRC through mIRC or any other IRC-like program (Icechat, Colloquy for Mac or Adium for Mac, etc. You can also use Pidgin if you desire).
If you do NOT have mIRC or any other program, download them. I recommend mIRC (http://www.mirc.com/) -- (http://www.icechat.net/site/) -- (http://colloquy.info/) -- (http://adium.im/) -- (http://www.pidgin.im/)
Now; you may be wondering. "Holy hell! mIRC is confusing!" In that case; use Icechat. It's much easier. But for IRC:
- Once you get on, a box will show up. Type in a Fullname, Email Address, a nickname and an alternative nickname, if you please.
- After that, do NOT click connect or anything yet. We'll do this in a second. Now once you got your name set up, in the little chat box there; type in the following:
Quote:
/server irc.rizon.net:6667 -j #Divinity-X
Once you've done that, you -SHOULD HOPEFULLY- be connected to the IRC. I believe Icechat works in a similar way, but without the name setup. And I don't have a Mac; so I don't know about Colloquy. But I hope this SOMEWHAT helps.
